Ready to Cast Your Line and Catch Some Stripers?
We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd annual Biotech and Bass Fishing Tournament!
Join us for a high-energy day on the water with industry peers as we kick off summer in Boston Harbor.
Last year’s tournament featured a fleet of 30+ foot boats (up to 5 anglers each, all equipped with onboard bathrooms) led by experienced local captains. We’ll depart from Fan Pier Marina and head out in pursuit of striped bass and more.
After the tournament, unwind at The Barking Crab with lunch, drinks, and the announcement of tournament winners.
If you are interested in fly fishing, instead of fishing with spinning rods, please let us know on the registration form, as we can accommodate a small number of fly fishermen.
What’s Included
- A spot on a chartered fishing boat + captain
- All gear + fishing license for the day
- Coffee & breakfast on arrival
- Beverages onboard
- Complimentary tournament gift
- Post-event lunch at The Barking Crab
- Prizes (announced day of)
- Keep your catch—cleaned, filleted, and packed to go in a cooler bag

FAQ
What Should I Wear?
We recommend that you “dress for the weather” by layering clothing for a cool morning and possible warmer afternoon. A windbreaker and comfortable, non-marking shoes are recommended, but any comfortable walking shoes that can get wet will work.
What Should I Bring?
We recommend bringing sunscreen in a tube (NO aerosol sunscreens, as they can turn fiberglass and boat upholstery orange), a hat, sunglasses, snacks, and your mobile phone to take pictures of your catch! There is plenty of dry storage on each boat for personal items.
Are There Bathrooms?
Yes—all boats are equipped with onboard bathrooms.
