Jeff Griffor 

Managing Director

Jeff Griffor leads our debt placement and advisory efforts on the East Coast, where he works with venture and private equity-backed growth stage companies.  He joined Capital Advisors Group in 2025 and has over 25 years of experience working with early to late-stage venture and private equity-backed growth companies both as a direct lender and as an advisor.

Jeff began his career in venture lending at Lighthouse Capital Partners having been an integral member of the firms West Coast and East Coast teams over Funds IV, V, and VI.  After Lighthouse, Jeff spent several years focused on venture lending within the commercial bank setting, most notably at Square1 Bank (now known as Banc of California).  Most recently, Jeff worked at BayCross Capital Partners as a Managing Director working with Health Technology, Life Science, and Industrial Technology companies to raise debt capital.  Jeff earned a BBA with a double major in Finance and Economics from Ohio University, as well as an MBA in International Finance and Economics from Loyola University – Chicago.
